Having now seen The West Wing, this strip no longer leaves me cold and confused. Amazing scenes.

I want more of Mamet's Achewood.

It better have Joe Mantegna in it. I'm also guessing it would now be set in Chicago.

Achewood is already about the complex relationships between men and features few female characters of note with basically all of them being defined entirely by their relationships to the men (girlfriend and mothers all). It's pretty much there already.

seriously, this has made my evening. i will be ordering ten of their no cussing wristbands and the positive hugs cards tomorrow after work. fucking hilarious

hah, that positive hugs card reminds me of an old mantra of mine:
Negative words but positive feelings.
basically, tell your friends such as "i'll fuck your dad if that would hurt your feelings" but really mean "i love you and i would be nice if i didnt know we are friends forever." it's...a useless method of doing anything, but fun as all hell.

That scares me deeply. It's people like that that caused me to pledge to increase my level sometime around my senior year of high school and freshman year of college. I think that playing about 20 hours of Super Smash Bros. with friends gave me exactly what I needed to come out on top.
