I feel so sorry for Philippe in this strip. Even when Roast Beef is trying to have a party he manages to make it depressing.
And Roast Beefs jaw in panel 2 is a good thing. You can imagine it falling off.

i think roast beef knows and is willing to do what it takes to have a real bachelor party. he's just holding back the real ideal becasue he understands that philippe is a young child, and therefore has a considerably lower party threshold(sp?).

many people i know think that bachelor parties are a poor idea. i do not know how i feel about the subject.
