When I first started reading this strip I always thought Lyle's moustache was a big, happy, open cat mouth!

They're still all toys. The cats are real animals, as are the squirrels, but those four are definitely plush. But it doesn't stop them having a damned good time.

Quite possibly the only strip where Cornelius is horny and vocal about it.

2.9 is not a fair reflection of this strip. A cursory glance of the comments on it suggest that Phillipe is out of character in his apparent sexual deviancy.

The Ultra-Peanut saga that follows later disproves that.

I think the best lesson we can learn from this strip is Lyle's inherent degeneracy, as well as that of the early, non-feline cast.

And that Lyle looks fatter with no shirt.

about the mouth/stache- if you look at the picture of the cast, you will see that lyle has a big mouth. the early lyle has a large mouth but it slowly morphs into a stache in later strips because, well, it looks like one. plus it's cooler.
