Me either. The one-two punch of the horrifying pancake and Philippe's rictus of terror and devastation just kills me. Onstad is really good at capturing that all-encompassing crushing disappointment that kids set themselves up for with too-high expectations.

yes for a time, i was very worried that the discussion page here was turning into a regular forum. It wasn't anywhere near as bad as say, youtube commentors, but though i hate to say it, it was getting nearly as bad as a college message board.

Phillippe is actually hell of delighted with french Mickey. It is a delightful spin on an old classic for him.

Even the silverware is imperfect to Philippe. The pancake has been such a disappointment.
